About
With over a decade of experience delivering high-impact learning initiatives across healthcare, retail, and corporate sectors, I bring a dynamic mix of content design, engaging facilitation, and strategic programme management. Most importantly, I m passionate about building a culture of continuous learning one that inspires people to grow, perform, and thrive. In my current role at Great Ormond Street Hospital(GOSH) as the Workforce Development Trainer, I lead the Career Development Programme for operational and business support staff, delivering sessions that are not only skills-focused but also learner-led. This programme has seen a 20% year-on-year growth in uptake, a direct result of how I ve marketed the initiative internally positioning it as aspirational, relevant, and accessible. Through strategic stakeholder engagement and targeted communications, I ve shifted development from optional to essential, creating a ripple effect across departments. One of my core strengths lies in translating feedback into action. I conduct an annual Learning Needs Analysis as a routine part of programme design, capturing both organisational priorities and employee voice. Whether through formal feedback loops or informal check-ins, I listen closely and iterate fast ensuring that every learning touchpoint is not just informative but impactful. As a people-focused L&D practitioner, I believe learning should feel intuitive, relevant, and genuinely motivating. I have delivered induction, customer service, and personal effectiveness training to diverse groups, from new joiners to senior-level professionals. I understand how to flex content and delivery style to accommodate different learning preferences and accessibility needs, and I build content with inclusion at its core. My facilitation is energetic and collaborative balancing structure with responsiveness to the room. I have received recognition across all my organizations for my work in Learning & Development, especially for helping digitally less proficient employees achieve training compliance through innovative methods. This includes translating documents into their preferred languages and collaborating with SMEs to create training handouts based on e-learning modules. In past roles, I ve partnered with external providers and internal SMEs to co-create learning content, and I m confident in managing end-to-end training cycles from concept to reporting. I m also experienced in maintaining learning systems, tracking compliance, and reporting insights to inform business decisions. Starling Bank s mission to simplify finance through innovation resonates deeply with my approach to learning: intuitive, progressive, and people-first. I would be excited to contribute my skills to your team and support the growth of a high-performing, empowered workforce. Thank you for considering my application. I d welcome the opportunity to speak further about how I can add value to your L&D strategy.
