I hold a PhD in Applied Psychology, an MSc in Applied Psychology (Clinical and Counselling) with Merit, a Master of Research in Management (First Class), and a BSc (Hons) in Psychology, awarded Summa Cum Laude. I also hold formal teacher training through a Certificate in Teaching in Higher Education (CTHE). I served as a Lecturer in Psychology at the Faculty of Medicine, General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University (KDU), Sri Lanka, from 2011 to 2024 delivering undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, supervising research, and providing clinical services and student counselling. I have authored over 40 publications and conference presentations on topics such as abnormal jealousy, maternal mental health, women s psychology, and digital mental health. Recognized with multiple national and international awards for academic excellence, I now seek academic and research roles where I can advance interdisciplinary education, mentor students, and lead impactful mental health research.
