About
With more than twenty-five years in Health & Social Care education, I have progressed from ward-based nursing and community care into specialist assessment and quality-assurance leadership. Beginning with hands-on care at Whipps Cross Hospital and in domiciliary settings, I soon qualified as an NVQ assessor (A1) and internal verifier (V1), laying the technical foundations you require. That frontline experience still informs the constructive, context-rich feedback I give to today’s learners, helping them link theory to real practice.
Over the past decade I have moved into senior quality roles, most recently as Head of Assessment & Support Services at Twin Group. There I design centre-wide sampling plans, manage nationwide assessor teams and maintain direct-claims status with multiple awarding bodies, consistently achieving clean EQA and Ofsted outcomes. My day-to-day work is delivered through e-portfolio platforms and virtual classrooms, so online marking, video observations and prompt digital feedback are second nature.
Alongside Health & Social Care Levels 2-5 I also oversee Supporting Teaching & Learning, Business Services and AAT pathways, which means I can flex across programmes as workload demands shift. A PGCE plus accredited first-aid and manual-handling trainer status let me enrich your offer with CPD sessions, while my Chelmsford-adjacent base makes occasional on-site visits easy. In short, I bring the exact CAVA/A1, IQA and level-4 sector qualifications you insist on—plus strategic quality leadership, multi-standard versatility and a proven record of guiding remote learners to timely, compliant success.
