About
I am academic with 1 year experience of voluntary tutorial in criminal justice and human rights law. I will be completing my Doctor of Philosophy from Canterbury Christ Church University, UK, December 2025.and individual students from various UK universities. My fascination with the legal system stems from a deep-seated belief in justice and fairness. From my undergraduate studies in criminal law, criminal justice and human rights to my coursework in constitutional law, I have been captivated by the intricacies of legal reasoning and its impact on society. This passion, coupled with my experience voluntary tutoring of A level students in various subjects, makes me a strong candidate for a law tutoring position. In my previous tutoring roles, I've honed my ability to break down complex concepts into easily digestible explanations. For instance, I helped a student struggling with criminal law understand the specific elements to establish guilt. For example, these elements include an actus reus which is the guilt act, mens rea-guilt mind and concurrence-the intent and act must occur at the same time. Additionally, causation and harm may be required depending on the specific crime. I also tailored my approach to each student's learning style, whether they preferred working with diagrams, case studies, or structured notes.
