About
With 10 years experience and a strong background in early years and education, leadership, and staff development, I am confident in my ability to support learners in achieving their qualifications at their highest standard while promoting excellence in early years practice. Currently I work in the offices at Swan Meadow Nursery as part of their management team where I have gained over 10 years of experience in managing daily operations, mentoring staff, overseeing curriculum planning, ensuring high standards of care and education and leading 2 outstanding Ofsted inspections. I have been responsible for inducting and supporting apprentices and unqualified practitioners, tailoring guidance to help them meet the Early Years Educator (EYE) standards and achieve distinctions within their end point assessments (EPA’s). This experience has deepened my understanding of the assessor’s role in shaping competent, confident professionals. I have a Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (CAVA), which, alongside my hands-on experience and Early Years Educator qualifications, positions me well to assess learners effectively. I am passionate about quality education and committed to supporting apprentices and learners on their journey. My approach to assessment is grounded in reflective practice, safeguarding awareness, and a good understanding of the EYFS framework and developmental milestones. I am confident in my ability to build positive relationships with learners, employers, and training providers, ensuring that learning remains purposeful, supportive, and aligned with sector expectations. I would welcome the opportunity to contribute to your team and support the next generation of early years professionals.
