Over the years, I have provided tutorial services to graduate and postgraduate students. I have taught Marketing and International Business courses in the University of Ghana. As a lecturer, I employed varied teaching and learning methods that ensured successful outcomes. I employed the usage of an online interactive platform, Sakai as an aid to enhance the teaching and learning experience. I was also part of the strategic team that crafted and developed the curriculum for this course. I have collaborated with other colleagues in achieving successful outcomes in drafting and delivering a course content for International Business at the University of Ghana. This course was tailored to meet the expectations of students in the business world beyond their borders. Through collaborative efforts, resource personnel across the world were invited to provide perspectives and experiences that enriched the teaching and learning experiences. I have had the opportunity to teach Leadership as an Assistant at the University of the West of Scotland where Aula, an online interactive platform fully utilised to enhance tutorial services. I am currently a tutor at the University of Glasgow where I have had the opportunity to teach Research Project, Organizational Behaviour and Organisational Management. In order to enhance the teaching and learning experience, I employ the usage of the VLE which is an online platform. As a tutor in business-related subjects and research, I have always maintained high standard of punctuality, professionalism, attention to detail, being student- focused and adapted to best practices to enhance the teaching and learning experiences. I have employed varied approaches which include presentations, case-studies, facility visits, group studies and discussions, videos and resource persons to improve and enhance student learning and understanding. I have always created a conducive environment where students can confidently ask questions, answer questions and interact with me during teaching and learning. I have also employed feedback mechanisms to identify students understanding and addressed them accordingly.
About
I possess rich blend of both industrial and academic knowledge. I have served as a marketing executive, manager and lecturer in various institutions. The knowledge and experiences gained have sharpen my analytical skills, competencies and broaden my horizon. I am also a researcher and I have published in peer reviewed journals. I am a member of British Academy of Management and also a reviewer for Qualitative Market Research. The exposure to research has improved my knowledge base and enhanced my potential to critically assess situations and problems and develop tailored solutions that inure to the benefits of individuals, firms and the society at large.
