My recent experience as a Band 7 Clinical Lead has enabled me to fulfill the operational responsibility for my team like supervision, performance management, sickness absence management, staff appraisal, risk management and conflict resolution. I have also contributed in the service development and implemented innovative ideas for effective functioning of the Physiotherapy department. I have developed excellent communication skills, including the ability to process and share highly complex information. I am confident in managing clinical case load, performing advanced clinical assessment of patients including those with highly complex presentations and from this formulating a diagnosis and treatment plan carried out as an autonomous practitioner. It has given me broad perspective of working in the NHS, complying with the NHS, HCPC and CSP guidelines. I work closely with a Multidisciplinary team of Physiotherapists, Occupational therapists, nurses, social workers, and Consultants. My job role is to plan, organize and prioritize own client case-load, and to organize and manage the appropriate delegation of client care/work to the Junior physiotherapists and students. I maintain my own continuing professional development by keeping up to date with new trends and developments through specialist clinical interest groups, peer reviews and research, and incorporating them into practise. I can demonstrate a high level of clinical knowledge across a broad spectrum of physiotherapeutic specialities to reflect the broad sweep of clinical conditions encountered with clients. I am aware of the health and safety aspects of my work and I implement any policies which require to improve the safety in my work area including reporting and recording of accidents.
