Interested in lecturing positions with the health and social care field. Qualified and registered Social Worker with 17 years experience across Nottingham City and Derby City Local Authority children s services. A proud Children s Social Worker who is empathetic, courteous, hopeful and consistently child focused. Advocating and supporting children and families impacted by trauma. Experience of managing complex case work in highly pressurised Safeguarding teams , Care Proceedings, CIN, Looked After Children teams. Through lived experience of parenting a wonderfully autistic child I have gained a solid understanding of the Special Educational Needs and Disabilities system, in particular EHCP Working Documents and Tribunal applications. I have developed a strong awareness of neurodivergent needs and experiences, and I actively apply inclusive strategies to support diverse cognitive profiles.
