About
In brief, during my last 10 years as a senior lecturer in the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences at Northumbria University, aside from research, my responsibilities have included programme leader for the undergraduate sport development and coaching degree. This included programme revalidation, development, module writing, leading, assessment and management at all undergraduate and post-graduate levels and lecturing in the areas of health, fitness and coaching. As a practicing exercise professional, I developed and led several of the modules on health development and fitness, these teachings had to adhere to the industry standards of CIMSPA level 2 and 3 awards and also British Association of Sport and Exercise Sciences.
