About
I am an accomplished Sales and Engagement manager with over ten years experience working in building and maintaining relationships with schools and young people. I have experience of succeeding while working on the ground as well as remotely managing sales teams to exceed targets while aligning with organisational aims and values. For the last eight years I have worked on the National Citizen Service contract with Ingeus, initially in a Youth and School Engagement Role then moving into managing teams across Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and North Leicestershire, before finally spending the last two years managing Yorkshire and the North East. In the last year, I led my teams to delivering 449 events across 258 schools and FE Colleges with a total reach of 57,367 young people. My career to date has, for the most part, been driven by providing opportunities to students through various programmes and courses that will benefit their futures. My passion for this has made selling these opportunities to decision makers and motivating my direct reports to do so, within schools and colleges second nature - I am able to talk openly, passionately and convincingly about how a service can benefit individuals and organisations. In terms of engagement and selling, I have been tenacious, creative and dedicated, reaching various benchmarks, particularly in my time over the last 7.5 years with NCS: - As a youth engagement advisor achieved highest performing advisor in the East Midlands on multiple occasions - managing a caseload of up to 60 schools and colleges and in one particular year of my three in the role, achieving 136% of seasonal sales target - As team leader, achieved a 97% access rate with all schools and colleges in the East Midlands - As regional Manager for Yorkshire and the North East, led Yorkshire to being the highest performing region nationwide (of 9 regions) and oversaw growth of 122% in the North East. I am currently looking for a role that will enable me to continue to contribute towards benefitting the lives of young people while challenging me to continue to develop professionally. I am motivated by hitting targets and thrive in a fast paced work environment, I m happiest when moving and growing.
