About
I am a dedicated and innovative ESOL educator with over five years of experience empowering learners across age groups and cultural backgrounds to achieve language confidence and real-world communication skills. With a strong foundation in both adult education and early years teaching, I bring a flexible, learner-centered approach to language instruction that fosters inclusion, motivation, and measurable progress. In my recent role as a freelance English teacher in Manchester, I have designed and delivered industry-specific English courses for Vietnamese nail technicians, supporting workplace integration and improving client communication. I also provide personalized IELTS preparation, consistently helping learners improve their scores often by a full band or more through tailored strategies that build on individual strengths and needs. Previously, I taught adult learners at ILA English Center in Vietnam, where I achieved a 100% exam pass rate and was honored as Teacher of the Year. My experience spans curriculum development, differentiated instruction, and community-based learning, supported by my MA in TESOL from Nottingham Trent University and CELTA-equivalent certification. I have also contributed to early childhood education in both Vietnam and the UK, applying the EYFS framework and play-based methods to support holistic development in young learners. Beyond the classroom, I have led large-scale educational and community initiatives, including managing volunteer teams, coordinating outreach projects, and raising funds for youth development. My background in nonprofit leadership with the Red Cross and Live to Love Organization reflects my deep commitment to social impact and educational access. I am currently seeking ESOL teaching roles that allow me to continue serving diverse communities particularly adult learners and newcomers through inclusive, communicative, and skills-based learning. I m especially interested in roles that value innovation, learner autonomy, and integration with workplace or community goals.
