About
I am interested in all aspects of pedagogy, especially EAL pedagogy. As well as education, I am interested in childhood studies, including critical childhood studies, anti-racism and children's social care. My PhD involves an exploration of children's social care- policy and practice, with a focus on unaccompanied asylum seeking children. I have experience teaching across all phases, from reception to teaching adults at Master's level. Most of my experience as a trainer involves teaching trainee and experienced teachers, including senior leaders. Northumbria University also employed me as a content developer for a European wide research project.
