About
I am currently working full time as Team Supervisor in Farrands - an independent cocktail bar in Leeds City Centre. My time at Farrands has been invaluable to me, working with such a brilliant and inspiring team has really improved my confidence, not only in creating cocktails for new menus and events but also when dealing with and going above and beyond for customers. I have seen that hospitality can be a career, however, for myself I am looking for a role which ignites my passion for working with children and adults with additional needs, assisting with personal development and really making a difference in their lives.
For almost 3 years, I have been working 1-to-1 with a young woman with additional needs. This involves picking her up twice a week and taking her to do various activities which involve her in her local community. It has been an incredibly rewarding time as I have been able to witness the impact that these sessions have made, her growth in confidence has been something I am incredibly proud of and I am looking forward to continuing my work with her alongside full-time employment.
My employment history has been mostly working in education in different ways and, in particular, focusing on working with children and adults with additional needs. It is because of this, and my current work as a Personal Assistant, which has prompted my decision to return full-time to a role in education.
