Skills
My journey began as an indentured apprentice at the age of 16 through a CITB-sponsored program. Over the years, I have developed an advanced proficiency in both traditional and modern carpentry techniques, from hand-cut roofing and bespoke joinery to high-end residential builds. I’ve successfully run my own joinery workshop, collaborated on major projects such as the Stratford Council Offices, and currently focus on specialized adaptations for disabled residents.
What brings me the greatest satisfaction, however, is mentoring. I have personally guided several apprentices, three of whom have gone on to become exceptional tradesmen, and I’m currently supporting another in his journey. This experience has shown me the value of structured training combined with real-world insight—something I am excited to bring into the classroom or workshop.
I am confident that my blend of practical knowledge, leadership experience, and enthusiasm for developing others would make a positive impact on your training team. I would welcome the opportunity to discuss how I can support your mission of educating the next generation of skilled tradespeople.
