Skills
I have all the relevant training of a level 3 teaching assistant. Whilst working at Gateway College I have had the pleasure of supporting students from different backgrounds, cultures and upbringings as an individual I know it is important to always create a holistic working environment for learners as an educator because it is imperative for equality to be implemented in every setting I am in. I have lead multiple workshop sessions with students and specifically in English literature and language GCSE’s and A level. For this I had to be incredibly organised to prepare students work beforehand, take into account their workload from their other lessons and be well articulated and learned in teaching them and getting them to hand in assignments and practice exam papers. Liaising with other members off staff and professionals came naturally to this role as you have to take into account every aspect of how the student is learning in order to give them the best outcomes, I frequently had student parent meeting with my learners to keep them updated or entail them on what was going on or raise any issue or achievements.
