I’ve spent over a decade leading in secondary education, most recently as a Head of Department and Associate Senior Leader. My work has consistently been about building systems that raise outcomes and empower people.
I’ve led large-scale curriculum projects, introducing new assessment models, embedding disciplinary literacy, and aligning practice across departments.
At senior level, I’ve influenced whole-school strategy — from shaping quality assurance and CPD to securing external partnerships that improved teacher recruitment and retention.
I’ve managed substantial budgets, coached colleagues at every career stage, and overseen literacy, behaviour, and inclusion initiatives that inspectors and governors have praised.
Beyond results, I’ve worked hard to make schools more inclusive and sustainable workplaces, embedding EDI principles, building staff wellbeing policies, and ensuring all pupils and staff have the tools to succeed.
