GE Vernova is looking for an exceptional Technical Trainer to join our Field Services team based in the United Kingdom.

Responsibilities

Deliver high quality technical training to wind technicians at the Nigg site and support training operations near the Port of Tyne.
Run classroom sessions, provide theoretical instruction, and lead practical, hands on training.
Guide learners through technical documentation to develop the skills, knowledge, and confidence required for safe and effective field operations.
Lead hands on training within the nacelle environment, providing real world context and building technician confidence in critical tasks.
Collaborate closely with the GE Vernova training team to ensure full training coverage and provide flexible support at the Port of Tyne as needed.
Contribute to remote training delivery, maintaining consistency and engagement across both in person and virtual learning formats.
Uphold training quality by maintaining accurate documentation, assessments, and records while ensuring all materials meet GEV standards.
Foster strong participant engagement through clear instruction, practical demonstrations, and supportive coaching.
Help sustain a dynamic, safety focused training environment that supports the development of a skilled workforce for major offshore wind projects.

Qualifications

Technically skilled and adaptable trainer with strong wind industry experience.
Excellent communication abilities and the capability to deliver both theoretical and hands on training in a dynamic, fast changing environment.
Solid technical background as an electrician or electrical engineer with essential experience in the wind industry.
Demonstrated teaching aptitude, patience, and a learner focused approach.
Highly motivated, flexible, and comfortable adapting to changing schedules or training needs on short notice.
Technically curious and proactive in self study to ensure accurate, high quality delivery of training content.
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in English.
