The Role

As a Reception Teacher, you will play a key role in supporting children at the very start of their education, helping them to settle, develop confidence, and build strong learning foundations.

You will:
• Deliver a balanced approach across adult-led learning and continuous provision
• Support early reading, writing, and language development
• Create a calm, organised, and engaging classroom environment
• Track progress and adapt provision to meet individual needs
• Build positive relationships with parents and carers

What They re Looking For

This role would suit a Reception Teacher who:

• Holds UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Has experience within EYFS or a strong understanding of early years practice
• Is confident delivering phonics and supporting early language development
• Can establish clear routines and manage behaviour effectively
• Takes a consistent and practical approach to teaching

Salary & Contract

Inner London MPS: £40,317 £52,300
UPS available up to £62,496
Additional responsibility may be available for experienced teachers
