We are seeking a Teacher of Engineering to join its growing department. We have opportunities across Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical and Computer Engineering. You’ll deliver engaging lessons across BTEC, T Level and/or A Level programmes, combining academic learning with real-world application in a highly industry-focused environment. This role is ideal for educators passionate about preparing students for careers in engineering through practical, hands-on learning.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging engineering lessons
Support student progress, attainment, and outcomes
Contribute to curriculum development and project-based learning
Use assessment data to inform teaching and support learners
Create an inclusive, safe, and motivating classroom environment
Participate in wider college activities, employer engagement, and enrichment

Requirements

Degree in Engineering (or related field)
Teaching qualification (PGCE or working towards)
Experience teaching 16–18 learners (BTEC/T Level desirable)
Strong subject knowledge and passion for technical education
Ability to inspire and support students of all abilities
