Overview
We are seeking a qualified and experienced ABA Tutor to provide structured, individualised support to a 16-year-old student in Havering. This role is ideal for a professional who is confident in planning and delivering sessions aligned with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).
Role Overview
This ABA Tutor role in Havering involves planning and delivering lessons that meet the student's specific educational and developmental needs. You will use Applied Behaviour Analysis principles to promote engagement, progress, and independence within a consistent and supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver Face to Face tutoring for 15 hours a week
- Plan and deliver lessons in line with the student's EHCP
- Apply ABA strategies to support learning and behaviour
- Adapt sessions to suit the student's pace, strengths, and needs
- Monitor progress and adjust lesson plans accordingly
- Maintain a structured, calm, and positive learning environment
Requirements
- A recognised UK-based ABA qualification
- Proven experience planning and delivering structured lessons
- Experience supporting young people with additional needs
- A valid enhanced DBS
- Professional, reliable, and organised approach
Position Details
This ABA Tutor position is based in Havering and offers 15 hours of work per week at a rate of £30 per hour.
