Teaching Assistant - Specialist PRU Ferryhill September Start

Protocol Education is recruiting a Qualified Teaching Assistant to work within a specialist PRU in Ferryhill supporting pupils with SEMH needs and challenging behaviour.
This is a highly rewarding role where no two days are the same. You will support pupils who may have experienced barriers to education and require consistent, positive role models to help them achieve success.
What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting pupils with SEMH and behavioural needs
- Managing and de escalating challenging behaviour
- Encouraging positive choices and engagement in learning
- Supporting emotional wellbeing and self regulation
- Working closely with teachers and pastoral staff
We're Looking For
- Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
- Experience supporting behaviour, SEMH, or alternative provision settings
- Strong resilience and professionalism
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills
- A patient, empathetic, and positive attitude
