Working Pattern: 37 Hours Per Week, Monday to Friday, Term Time only plus 15 days
Are you an experienced leader ready to take strategic and operational ownership of student welfare and safeguarding? As the Lead Learning Manager, you will manage the Learning Manager team, ensuring high-quality support maximizes student attainment and life chances. This senior inclusion role involves acting as the Child Protection lead, championing positive mental health, and coordinating complex multi-agency interventions for our most vulnerable young people.

Responsibilities
You will provide strategic and operational leadership for child protection and student welfare, often acting as the Safeguarding Deputy Designated Lead and maintaining all child protection records. A core function is the formal supervision and management of the Learning Manager team, ensuring effective tracking and intervention utilizing the MIS system and Praising Stars.
You will lead on promoting student positive mental health and manage multi-agency case work, including undertaking referrals, recording safeguarding incidents, and chairing meetings such as Team Around the Child. Furthermore, you will support readmission meetings and provide emergency support across the academy via the internal radio system.

Qualifications
Essential qualifications include Safeguarding Level 3, along with a willingness to complete Level 3 safeguarding supervision training and Mental Health First Aid training within the first six months.
Candidates must have significant experience managing and leading teams, coupled with extensive knowledge of issues affecting young people and mental health within a school setting.
Required skills include the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences to gain credibility, utilize multiple school software systems, and chair and manage meetings effectively. A satisfactory DBS check is mandatory.
