About the Role
The Science Department is well resourced with eight well equipped laboratories and three prep rooms which enable a wide range of practical activities across all year groups. You will join an experienced and dedicated team of teachers and support staff who are passionate about science. The department has a variety of backgrounds and experiences which are utilised through our weekly co-planning meetings and shared resourcing. You will also be supported by a Trust Wide Subject Lead and a national community of fellow subject experts who meet regularly to co-plan curriculum and share best practice.
Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status with a good honours degree in a relevant subject and evidence of ongoing professional development.
- Excellent classroom practitioner with demonstrable experience of raising standards and delivering the science curriculum.
- Experience of working in high performing contexts and helping scholars to overcome significant barriers to learning.
