As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Electrical Lead IQA (Internal Quality Assurer) to join our team.
This is a pivotal role within the organisation. You will lead and maintain the quality assurance processes across our electrical programmes, supporting assessors and tutors to deliver fair, consistent and compliant assessment practices whilst driving continuous improvement throughout the learner journey.

As Electrical Lead IQA, you will be responsible for overseeing the assessment and quality assurance processes across our electrical apprenticeships, NVQs and training programmes. You will work closely with assessors, tutors and senior leaders to ensure that quality standards are maintained, regulatory requirements are met and learners receive a consistently high-quality experience.
Core Responsibilities
Plan and conduct sampling activities across assessment decisions, learner portfolios and assignments to ensure consistency, accuracy and fairness across all electrical programmes.Observe, coach and provide developmental feedback to electrical assessors and tutors, supporting their ongoing professional development and promoting best practice.Ensure all assessment practices, procedures and documentation comply with awarding organisation requirements, funding regulations and internal quality standards.Lead and facilitate standardisation meetings, encouraging the sharing of best practice and ensuring grading criteria are applied consistently.Act as the primary point of contact for External Quality Assurers (EQAs), coordinating visits, audits and any resulting quality actions.Develop and implement Quality Improvement Plans (QIPs) using learner feedback, quality assurance findings and performance data to drive measurable improvements.Ensure assessors make fair, robust and consistent decisions in line with the requirements of awarding organisations, End-Point Assessment Organisations (EPAOs) and educational regulators, including Ofqual and Ofsted.What Success Looks Like

Level 3 qualification or above in Electrical Installation or a closely related discipline.Recognised assessor and internal quality assurance qualifications, such as A1, TAQA, V1 or the Level 4 Certificate in Leading the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice.Proven experience working within the electrical or building services sector.Previous experience conducting Internal Quality Assurance activities within Further Education, work-based learning or apprenticeship environments.Strong knowledge of awarding organisation requirements, funding regulations and wider regulatory expectations.If you are passionate about maintaining exceptional standards, supporting colleagues to achieve excellence and helping learners succeed, we would be delighted to hear from you.
Pay: £42,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
