This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving our learning, talent, leadership, succession, emerging talent and digital learning strategies. Working closely with senior leaders across the business, you'll play a key role in building workforce capability, developing future talent pipelines and embedding a culture of continuous learning.

What You'll Be Doing
As Learning & Development Manager, you will:
- Lead and develop our People Development, Talent Development, Emerging Talent, Digital Systems and eLearning teams.
- Deliver and continuously improve learning, talent and organisational development strategies aligned to business priorities.
- Oversee succession planning, talent management and leadership development programmes across the organisation.
- Drive the ongoing success of our Graduate Programme and apprenticeship initiatives.
- Maximise apprenticeship levy and CITB funding opportunities.
- Manage learning and talent budgets, ensuring investment delivers measurable return on investment.
- Partner with senior leaders and People Partners to identify capability gaps and future skills requirements.
- Lead the delivery and continuous improvement of leadership capability programmes.
- Design, develop and facilitate training programmes where required.
- Oversee the creation and maintenance of engaging digital learning content and eLearning solutions.
- Manage relationships with external learning providers, educators and funding partners.
- Establish and monitor KPIs to measure effectiveness, engagement and business impact.
- Champion a culture of continuous learning and development across the organisation.
What We're Looking For
We're seeking a strategic learning professional who combines strong leadership capability with hands-on expertise in learning and talent development.
Essential Experience & Skills- Proven experience leading learning, talent or organisational development teams.
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to align learning initiatives to business objectives.
- Experience designing and implementing competency frameworks and career pathways.
- Significant experience designing and delivering engaging learning solutions.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills at all organisational levels.
- Experience managing budgets and demonstrating ROI on learning investment.
- Knowledge of apprenticeship programmes and levy funding.
- Experience managing eLearning content and digital learning platforms.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong analytical and reporting capabilities.
Desirable- Qualified Coach.
- Knowledge of Insights Discovery.
- Experience working within multi-site operational environments.
