Responsibilities
As Deputy Exams Officer, you will support the leadership, development, and delivery of key cross college examination services, including exam registration, entries and certification, paper based examinations and assessments, online testing programmes, and certificate distribution.
You will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the College's Examination Service, providing support to both staff and students. This includes ensuring that examination entries, registrations, and results are accurately processed, maintained, and recorded in line with College policies, Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ) regulations, and awarding body requirements.
Qualifications
- 6-8 years' experience delivering a variety of exams across further education campuses.
- Experience ensuring the efficient and effective running of all college examinations and awards in line with Awarding Body Regulations, including arrangements for timetable clashes, access arrangements, special consideration requests, security arrangements and amendments to candidates' details.
- Solid experience maintaining and developing appropriate procedures and systems for paper and online examination administration, and communicating these procedures to all relevant college staff.
- Ability to assist with the effective management of staff, including appointment, training, deployment, informing and motivating.
