About the role:
justteachers are proud to be working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in Harrogate to recruit a passionate and creative Teacher of Drama for a September start. This is a long term supply role offered on a full time basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic Drama specialist who is committed to inspiring young people and delivering high-quality creative arts education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teaching Drama across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
- Planning and delivering engaging, innovative lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Encouraging creativity, confidence, and collaboration in pupils
- Assessing student progress and supporting their academic and personal development
- Contributing positively to the wider life of the school
Pre-requisites:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching Drama in a secondary school setting
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- A passion for performing arts and creative learning
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
