SEMH Teaching Assistant

£100 - £120 per day
Temporary to Permanent contract

Working hours: Mon to Fri, 8:00am to 3:00pm
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEMH TA to work in specialist settings across SEN/SEMH in Salford and Oldham. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people by supporting their personal, social, and emotional development alongside their academic journey.
As a Teaching assistant, you will play a vital role in managing a classroom and covering various subjects, also supporting behaviour management strategies, and helping pupils overcome barriers to learning.
A successful Teaching assistant in SEMH Settings will
- Worked with children that have SEN/SEMH Needs
- Experience with EHCP'S
- Be confident in managing a classroom
- Be inspired to help students learn in new and exciting ways
- Able to cover various subjects when needed
- Have excellent communications skills

- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Able to commute to the Salford-Oldham area
