We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and dynamic Assistant Head Teacher who will work in partnership with governors, the school team and the whole school community to build on our strengths, whilst addressing our school improvement priorities. The Assistant Head Teacher must be fully committed to raising the standards of achievement of our pupils whilst aiming for outstanding performance in all areas of school life with a particular focus on Key Stage 2.
Responsibilities include:
- Working with governors, staff and the community to develop and implement school improvement plans.
- Leading and supporting the pastoral, teaching and learning agenda.
- Ensuring all staff and volunteers are fully safeguarding compliant and fostering a culture of child welfare.
Qualifications and competencies expected:
- Strong leadership and management experience in a school setting.
- Demonstrated commitment to raising high learning outcomes for KS2 pupils.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Relevant professional qualifications and a good understanding of national curriculum requirements.
