Responsibilities
- Comprehensive teaching responsibilities (designing schemes of work, assessing, preparation, delivery, marking, individual student tutoring).
- Designing, developing, and reviewing curriculum materials in line with programme specifications and quality assurance frameworks.
- Delivering engaging and innovative teaching using a variety of pedagogical approaches to meet diverse learner needs.
- Assessing student work in accordance with established criteria and providing timely, constructive feedback to support progress and achievement.
- Monitoring and tracking student performance, implementing appropriate interventions where necessary.
- Contributing to quality improvement processes, including course review, standardisation, moderation, and compliance activities.
- To reflect continuously and improve the quality of teaching and learning within your sessions. Utilising and developing resources to support student achievement.
- Experience of working with young people, providing guidance, support, and fostering positive learning and development outcomes.
- Experience of teaching, training, or facilitating learning sessions, with the ability to engage learners effectively and promote knowledge and skills development.
Essential Qualifications
- Education to degree level and/or above in required subject or equivalent.
- Minimum of Level 2 qualification in English and Mathematics GCSE 4+ or C and above / CSE Level 1 / O-Level C or above / Level 2 Adult Numeracy or Literacy or equivalent.
Benefits
£30.66 to £33.51 per hour.
Contract - Part time.
