Role: Technical Lecturer - Plumbing
Location: Central Bedfordshire College - Dunstable - Various Sites
Salary/Benefits: Salary between £33,048 and £38,169 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications, plus up to a £10,000 market supplement, 45 days annual leave plus Bank holidays, Teacher's Pension, Retail and Leisure Discounts, and excellent professional and personal development opportunities.
Hours/Weeks: 37 hours per week - 52 weeks per year
Contract Type: Permanent - Full Time

About the role:
- Teaching, Learning & Plumbing Delivery - Deliver high quality teaching across Plumbing programmes (Levels 1-3) with engaging, practical learning that supports student success and progression.
- Curriculum Planning & Lesson Design - Plan schemes of work and differentiated lessons, prepare relevant resources and real world learning activities to meet learner needs.
- Assessment, Progress & Student Development - Monitor attendance and progress, assess learner work, provide constructive feedback and implement interventions to ensure achievement.
- Classroom Management, Behaviour & Safe Practice - Maintain high standards of behaviour, manage learning environments effectively and ensure compliance with health & safety requirements.
- Professional Practice, Collaboration & Continuous Improvement - Contribute to curriculum development, team activities and learner support, while upholding safeguarding, EDI and ongoing professional development standards.
About you:
- Qualifications, Vocational Expertise & Industry Knowledge - Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject with Level 2 English and maths, supported by current industry experience and up to date technical knowledge.
- Teaching, Delivery & Learner Engagement - Able to deliver engaging teaching across vocational levels, using varied approaches to motivate learners and support achievement.
- Assessment, Quality & Health & Safety - Strong understanding of quality assurance systems and health & safety standards, ensuring compliance and high quality learning environments.
- Organisation, Communication & Teamwork - Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, able to manage workload, meet deadlines and contribute effectively within a team.
