About the role
justteachers are working in partnership with a welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school in Harrogate to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated Design & Technology Teacher for a September start. This is a full time long term supply role expected to last for the full term. You will predominantly working in the Product Design and Engineering Team and so experience in this field is desirable.
This is an exciting opportunity for a creative practitioner who is passionate about delivering engaging, hands on DT lessons and inspiring pupils to develop practical and problem solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Teaching Design & Technology across KS3 and 4
- Planning and delivering high-quality, engaging lessons
- Assessing pupil progress and providing constructive feedback
- Creating a safe and inclusive learning environment
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to support whole school development
Pre requisites
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching DT within the UK curriculum
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- A creative, proactive approach to teaching and learning
- A commitment to supporting pupil progress and wellbeing
