About the role
To deliver our PE curriculum and to contribute to the development of teaching and learning across the Sports department in alignment with the departmental and whole-school curriculum vision. The successful candidate will be a model of professionalism, a dynamic team player and an outstanding practitioner in the classroom.
This post is open to female candidates only, as the role involves supervising female changing rooms (Genuine Occupational Requirement under Schedule 9 of The Equality Act 2010).
About the PE Department
The department is well resourced with superb spaces which enable a wide range of sport across all year groups. You will lead an experienced and dedicated team of teachers and support staff who are passionate about PE.

Who we are looking for
- Qualified Teacher Status with a good honours degree in relevant subject with evidence of ongoing professional development.
- Excellent practitioner with demonstrable experience of raising standards and successful delivery of the curriculum.
- Experience working in high performing contexts and helping scholars to overcome significant barriers to learning.
