Secondary School in WiganSeptember Start - December (Temporary Cover)We are currently recruiting for a Modern Foreign Languages Teacher specialising in Spanish and French to join a welcoming secondary school in Wigan. This is a temporary position covering from September through to December, ideal for an enthusiastic teacher looking for a short-term opportunity.Your new roleYou will be responsible for teaching Spanish and French across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging and well-structured lessons in line with the national curriculum. The role will involve:

Planning and delivering high-quality MFL lessons
Inspiring students to develop confidence in speaking, reading, and writing languages
Assessing pupil progress and providing constructive feedback
Managing classroom behaviour effectively
Contributing positively to the wider department and school environment

The ideal candidate:

Holds QTS (or equivalent) and has experience teaching MFL at KS3 and KS4
Specialises in Spanish and French
Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and a passion for languages
Is confident in managing behaviour and engaging in mixed-ability classes
Has excellent communication and organisational skills
Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
