LEARNING MENTOR (LEVEL 3) 33.5 Hours per Week (Term Time)

We are seeking a committed and passionate Learning Mentor to join our dedicated team. The role focuses on providing support and guidance to children, helping them to overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.
You will report to the Lead Learning Mentor and help support pupils academically, socially and emotionally. You will help develop, agree and implement action plans with groups and individual children.
Qualifications
- Qualifications to at least a Level 3 (or equivalent) in Education or Support, with GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
- Be a good team player.
- Be able to form a constructive rapport with pupils to enable them to engage successfully with learning.
- Experience of working with children.
- Possess high levels of personal integrity and an ability to always maintain confidentiality.
Professional Requirements
All appointments are subject to satisfactory reference and clearances, including an enhanced disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service. The post is subject to medical clearance and an enhanced DBS check under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
