Sessional Welding Tutor and Assessor
Windsor Forest Colleges Group is looking for a part time Sessional Welding Tutor and Assessor for 22.5 hours per week on a fixed term contract at our Slough & Langley College campus. The role pays £35.01 per hour.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for delivering, assessing, and quality assuring City & Guilds accredited welding qualifications within a practical workshop and classroom environment. This includes planning, preparing, and delivering high quality training programmes across welding processes such as MMA, MIG/MAG, TIG, and Oxy Acetylene, while rigorously embedding and enforcing industry standard health, safety and environmental practices.
You will monitor and support learner progression, conduct weld inspections and testing to BS EN 4872 standards, and maintain the operational excellence of the welding workshop.
Qualifications
- Significant industry experience in welding and fabrication.
- Strong technical knowledge of welding engineering principles and engineering drawings.
