About the role:
justteachers are working in partnership with a well-regarded sixth form college in Leeds to recruit an enthusiastic and knowledgeable A Level Chemistry Teacher for a long-term supply role starting in September.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Chemistry specialist who is passionate about post-16 education and is looking for a stable, long-term position within a supportive college environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective A Level Chemistry lessons
- Plan, prepare and assess in line with the curriculum
- Inspire and motivate sixth form students to achieve their full potential
- Contribute positively to the wider science department
- Maintain high standards of classroom management and student progress
Pre-requisites:
- Holds QTS/QTLS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Has proven experience teaching A Level Chemistry
- Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Chemistry
- Is committed, reliable, and adaptable
- Two education or school based references
