About us
The ISEH was established in 2013 with a grant from the Department of Health as a major legacy project from the 2012 London Olympic Games. It is a partnership between UCLH (University College London Hospitals, NHS Foundation Trust), HCA Healthcare UK, University College London, the UK Sports Institute, and the British Olympic Association. It is also a founding member of the National Centre for Sport and Exercise Medicine (NCSEM).
About the role
The candidate will work within the Institute of Sport, Exercise and Health (ISEH) at University College London (UCL). The post holder will primarily teach on the MSc Clinical Exercise Physiology programme, but on occasion also on the MSc Sport Medicine, Exercise and Health and iBSc/BSc Sport and Exercise Medical Sciences programmes. These programmes have a strong focus on the clinical applications of exercise and physical activity for the prevention and management of clinical conditions, and on the application of exercise across the Clinical Exercise Physiology UK professional scope-of-practice (cancer, cardiovascular, frailty, renal, mental health, metabolic, musculoskeletal, neurological and respiratory)

About you
The successful candidate must hold Degree in a field relevant to Clinical Exercise Physiology (e.g. Medical Sciences, Biology, Natural Sciences, Sport Science and similar).
Relevant teaching qualification or Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (A/FHEA), or ability to attain FHEA.
The post holder must have an extensive experience in the field of Clinical Exercise Physiology or similar.
Experience of teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
PhD (or in final stages of preparation), or evidence of an equivalent level of attainment in research publications would be advantageous.
