Lecturer Subject Lead in Performing Arts - Acting
Warrington & Vale Royal College seeks a full time Lecturer Subject Lead with an acting and musical theatre specialism to lead the Performing Arts provision across the college.
Responsibilities
• Direct the Performing Arts curriculum and oversee delivery of UAL Performing and Production Arts qualifications at levels 2 and 3 (with potential expansion to levels 1 and 4).
• Lead marketing, relationship building and promotion of acting to grow the provision.
• Collaborate with the Curriculum Manager and staff to ensure high quality teaching and learning.
• Attend occasional evening work, including performances, open days and interview evenings throughout the year.
Qualifications and Skills
• Expert knowledge of acting and performing arts.
• Confidence in delivery and assessment of UAL qualifications.
• Excellent communication, teamwork and organisational skills.
• A strong desire to innovate and develop the curriculum.
• Ability to work autonomously and support learners at the heart of practice.
