SENIOR LEARNING MENTOR (LEVEL 4)

We are seeking a committed, passionate and experienced Senior Learning Mentor to join our dedicated team. This role focuses on supporting children with diagnosed behavioural disorders and additional needs, helping them overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.
You will play a key leadership role in developing personalised interventions, working closely with pupils, families, staff and external agencies to promote engagement, wellbeing and success.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the implementation of individualized learning plans for students with special educational needs.
- Provide coaching and leadership to teaching staff on inclusive practices.
- Collaborate with external agencies, parents and support services to ensure holistic support.
- Monitor pupil progress and report outcomes to school leadership.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree or equivalent in a relevant field with GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
- Experience working with pupils with special educational needs.
- Demonstrated ability to build constructive rapport with pupils.
- High levels of personal integrity and confidentiality.
- Proficient team player.
Requirements
- Successful reference and clearance checks including an enhanced disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
- Medical clearance and enhanced DBS check required.
- Right to work in the UK.
Location & Working Hours
Location: Russells Hall Primary School
Working Hours: 37 hours per week
Salary: £27,466.58 - £30,535.14 per annum (term time only, 39 weeks)
