This Humanities Teacher role is due to start in September, until Christmas. You will be teaching across KS3 & KS4, and will be planning, marking, and assessment.
Responsibilities
- Teach either or all of Geography, History and RE throughout KS3 and KS4.
- Planning, marking, and assessment required.
- Comply with the school behaviour policy.
- Reporting pupil progress against targets/action plans.
- Build relationships with the pupils, parents, and staff.
- Excellent behaviour and classroom management skills.
Qualifications & Skills
- Specialist in Humanities.
- Must have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Humanities - Early careers Teachers (ECTs) are encouraged to apply.
- Ability to manage a classroom with excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
- Contact references from all employment in the last 24 months.
- Previous school experience teaching Humanities.

- Competitive salary - Day rate of £168 to £232 which equates to £32,256 to £45,240 per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year, dependent on experience.
