KS1 Class Teacher (Temporary Maternity Cover)

The Role
As a Class Teacher, you will:
- Deliver high-quality teaching across the primary curriculum
- Plan engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
- Assess and track pupil progress effectively
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff
- Contribute to wider school life and curriculum development
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Has experience teaching in a primary setting (ECTs welcome)
- Has high expectations for all pupils
- Is enthusiastic, reflective, and committed to professional growth
- Works well as part of a team and builds positive relationships

Salary
M1-M3 (£32,916 - £37,101)
This is a temporary maternity cover role. The contract will run until the return of the current postholder, currently anticipated to be May 2027.
