About the Role
As a Key Stage 2 Teacher, you will take responsibility for planning and delivering engaging lessons that meet curriculum expectations while supporting pupils' academic and personal development. You will create a positive classroom culture that encourages curiosity, independence and progress.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging KS2 lessons in line with curriculum requirements
- Assess, monitor and track pupil progress effectively
- Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff
- Provide feedback to support pupil development and achievement
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 is desirable
- Strong understanding of the primary curriculum
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to inspire and motivate young learners
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
