About the role:
Justteachers are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Humanities Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in the Bradford area. This full time role is to start immediately and will run until the end of the academic year, offering an excellent opportunity to teach across subjects such as History, Geography, and RE within a strong Humanities department.
This position is suitable for both experienced teachers and confident ECTs looking to develop their practice in a well resourced and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high quality Humanities lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Teach a combination of History, Geography, and/or RE depending on department needs
- Plan, prepare, and assess work in line with curriculum expectations
- Inspire curiosity, critical thinking, and independent learning
- Track pupil attainment and provide constructive feedback
- Contribute to departmental planning, meetings, and wider school initiatives
- Uphold safeguarding responsibilities and promote student wellbeing
Pre requisites:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Strong subject knowledge across Humanities disciplines
- Experience teaching in UK secondary schools (ECTs welcome)
- A current enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one through Justteachers
- Two school based references
