Salary: £38,487 with a Teaching Qualification, £33,487 without a teaching qualification until TQ is completed
Hours: Full Time Permanent
Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding teaching and assessment up to Level 3, including study programmes, adult programmes and apprenticeships within Mechanical Engineering, in both a workshop and classroom environment.
- Motivate students and support them to achieve their potential.
- Equip students with skills for their future through the delivery of outstanding education and training and inspire them to achieve their potential.
Qualifications
- Hold a vocational qualification at Level 3 or above, and a relevant teaching qualification with an assessment award, or be willing to work towards these.
- Hold a Level 2 (or equivalent) qualification in English and Maths, or be willing to undertake one.
- Be able to work in an organised and methodical manner.
- Preferably have previous relevant work experience in industry or commerce within a specialist area.
- Preferably hold an assessment qualification (e.g., D32/D33 A1) or TAQA, or be willing to work towards one.
- Preferably have a sound understanding of Further Education Methodology.
