SEND English Teacher - PRU SE9
We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate SEND English Teacher to join a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in the SE9 area.
The Role
- Deliver engaging English lessons to students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
- Support pupils who have been excluded or are at risk of exclusion from mainstream education
- Plan, prepare and assess work tailored to individual learning needs
- Create a positive, structured and supportive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or relevant teaching experience
- Experience working with SEND and/or PRU settings
- Strong behaviour management skills
- Patient, resilient and committed to making a difference
