A well-established and supportive secondary school in Northampton is seeking a passionate and dedicated Geography Teacher to join their Humanities department from September 2026 on a full-time, permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced teachers and ECTs looking to develop their career within a strong and collaborative environment.
The Role
You will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering a love for the subject and supporting students to achieve their full potential.
Key responsibilities include:
- Planning and delivering high-quality Geography lessons
- Assessing and monitoring student progress
- Creating an inclusive and engaging classroom environment
- Contributing to the wider Humanities department
The Ideal Candidate
The school is looking for someone who is:
- A qualified teacher with QTS or ECT status
- At least 3 months teaching in the UK
- Passionate about Geography and education
- Confident in managing behaviour and engaging learners
- Committed to achieving excellent outcomes for students
- Able to work collaboratively within a team
