Role Description
Weir Training is seeking a full-time Qualified Apprenticeship Assessor to join our team. In this hybrid role based in Chobham, with the flexibility for some work from home, you will assess and support apprentices throughout their learning journey. Key responsibilities include delivering tailored 1:1 support, conducting workplace assessments, guiding apprentices in their professional development, and ensuring compliance with apprenticeship standards. You will work closely with Employer Partners to align training with business needs, maintain accurate records, and uphold quality standards.
Qualifications
Proven experience as an Assessor or in a similar role, with a relevant Assessor qualification (e.g., Level 3 Award in Assessing Competence in the Work Environment).Strong knowledge of Apprenticeship Standards in sectors such as Business Administration, Customer Service, Hospitality, or Team Leadership.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and mentoring abilities.Organizational skills for managing assessments, records, and scheduling.Proficiency with digital tools and e-portfolios to facilitate remote and on-site assessments.Commitment to upholding quality standards and regulatory requirements in apprenticeship delivery.Full UK driving license and willingness to travel to workplaces as needed.Experience in educational or workplace training environments is a plus.
