We’re looking for knowledgeable and enthusiastic Gas Trainers to join our expert team across our Ashbourne, Nottingham, and Lutterworth training centres.Whether you’re already a trainer or a skilled gas engineer looking to step away from the tools and into education, we’ll support you to transition into a training career and develop your teaching skills.What you’ll be doing:Deliver engaging, high-quality training to gas apprentices and learnersPlan and deliver structured lessons aligned with qualification standardsSupport learners through practical workshop sessions and classroom learningProvide one-to-one and small group support to help learners succeedAssess learner progress and provide clear, constructive feedbackMaintain accurate learner records and documentationWork closely with employers and internal teams to support learner progressCreate a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environmentKeep up to date with industry developments and gas safety standardsWhat we’re looking forStrong industry experience in gas engineering and heating systemsA passion for developing and supporting the next generation of engineersConfident communication and presentation skillsA supportive, patient, and learner-focused approachRenewable energy experience (e.g. heat pumps, solar thermal, low-carbon technologies)Plumbing qualifications or broader smart energy experienceTeaching and/or assessing qualifications (AET, DET, PGCE, TAQA or equivalent) – training can be providedSalary and benefitsSalary up to £44,000 plus performance bonus37.5 hours per week (typically Monday to Friday)Career progression and development opportunitiesSupportive and collaborative team cultureModern, well-equipped training facilitiesOpportunity to move into renewable and smart energy training over timeMake a lasting impact on the future gas and energy workforce#J-18808-Ljbffr
