English Teacher - Kettering

Location: Kettering, Northamptonshire

TradeWind Recruitment is seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Kettering. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping them develop strong literacy skills and a lifelong appreciation for English Language and Literature. Whether you are an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to begin your teaching journey, we would love to hear from you.

The Role

Deliver engaging and creative English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Plan, prepare and assess work in line with the national curriculum.
Monitor and support student progress, ensuring all learners achieve their potential.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Contribute to the wider life of the English department and school community.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Experience teaching English within a secondary school setting.
Strong subject knowledge of English Language and Literature.
Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
A commitment to raising achievement and supporting student success.
